Women received the majority of student awards in landscape architecture degree programs over the last 10-15 years. These numbers are only growing. In 2018, women won 69% of the ASLA Student Awards. The top 3 categories where women excel are communication, community space, and collaboration. The majority (66%) of LAF Olmsted Scholar recipients are women, with the distribution spread evenly across the country.
